Googles People Tracker,the newest Google software that has become available for use this year. If you can run a google map quest from your cellphone, you can now track all of your consenting friends and family in real time via a GPS cell phone tracker through the feature called Latitude.
Step1
You have to make sure that your cellphone is GPS capable in order for the people tracker to work.. Now to get started with Google Latitude go to google.com/latitude from your cellphone browser.

Follow the direction for the download to your cellphone for the people tracker. To start sharing your location, just send and invite to the one you want to share your location with. Or accept an invitation from a friend. You have complete control over your privacy, even after accepting invites

Some friends and family don't have a cellphone, but you can still share your location with them through their computer at igoogle.com.
