How to Choose Ground Cover for Your Garden

Choosing ground cover depends largely on where you live. Warm, cool, cold and very cold climates have very different types of plants that do well in that particularly climates. Choosing ground cover also depends on where you are placing the ground cover. Will it be in a sunny spot or beneath a large tree. All things consider, now you can go the your local nursery. Step1
Flowering Ground Cover.Choose a flowering ground cover if you are planting ground covering in a sunny area, chose something that will bloom. This type of plant will usually need to be replanted every spring or as early as you can depending on your climate.
Step2
Hardy Ground Cover. Choose a hardy ground cover for shady areas will require a much more hardier plant, chose something that does not need constant sun light.
Step3
Variegated Ground Cover. Choose a variegated ground cover for areas that don't get a lot of sun light, chose a variegated or ivy type ground cover.
